We were asked to redecorate a living room for a very good customer who is looking to revamp and update their home after moving into the dreaded "Magnolia everywhere" property.
The ceiling was not in too bad repair so that just required a good sand down and then a couple of coats of fine quality White emulsion to brighten it up.
The walls, however, were a different story as it looked like the yearly snag had either been forgotten about or not had enough attention after settling.
Quite a bit of taping and filling were needed and also a fair few popping screws in the plasterboard had to be tightened up and filled in to minimise the chance of them coming back again.
2 coats of Dulux trade Egyptian cotton finished the walls off nicely.
The feature wall was down for finished wallpaper so we cross lined with 1200 grade lining paper and used a very good quality ready mix paste on the pattern paper to ensure maximum stick.
Like it never happened!
