Lust Wallpaper Staircase Transformation

This project involved transforming a staircase and landing area with a striking Lust wallpaper design.

The walls had been freshly plastered, so the first stage was to properly prepare the new plaster before the wallpaper could be applied. The surfaces were sized to provide the correct base for the wallpaper, helping to ensure good adhesion and allowing the paper to be positioned and worked accurately.

The staircase presented some additional challenges due to the height of the walls and the awkward shapes around the stairwell. Working safely at height while maintaining accurate wallpaper alignment required careful preparation and attention to detail, particularly around the changes in angles and the staircase itself.

The wallpaper was then carefully applied throughout the stairwell and landing, with particular attention given to keeping the pattern consistent across the different sections of wall.

The finished result is a bold and distinctive staircase that completely changes the character of the space, while the crisp white woodwork provides a strong contrast against the statement wallpaper.
